Really Sunny.

**11:11AM Update**

The Taxi Quad will be closed for the remainder of the day.

It’s officially time to start working on your goggle tan. Today’s weather is calling for copious amounts of sunshine and temps as high as 16F. Sounds like a perfect day to cruise the groomers or hunt for left over powder in the trees.

Lower Mountain lifts are scheduled to spin at 8AM, with Upper Mountain lifts slated to follow at 8:30AM. As always final chair for all lifts is at 4PM.

Bust out your beads and purple/gold outfits; our 13th Annual Mardi Gras is coming to a close today. Tonight, join us from 4-7PM in the IR for FREE live music from Fire Tiger and an authentic Louisiana Crawfish boil. Music is free, Crawfish are $10 a plate.

Looking for something to keep you busy after last chair? CLICK HERE to see all of our offerings, like Vermont's only Indoor Waterpark, NHL sized Ice Arena, Nordic Center, local Brewery Tours, Trivia, Yoga, weekly FREE live music, Guided Snowshoe Tours, Fat Bike rentals and much more.

Great Big Kingdom

Jay Peak Resort and Burke Mountain are now owned by the same parent company led by Jay Peak CEO Bill Stenger and his partner Ariel Quiros.  Together, Ariel and Bill have developed Jay Peak into a year round, successful resort and have plans to improve Burke in the same, thoughtful, deliberate way. In just a few months, along with Burke's existing management team, they have fast tracked dramatic improvements to the mountain's snowmaking system aiming for an early start and later close to the 2012+13 ski ride season.

FUTURE PLANS FOR BURKE MOUNTAIN

But Jay Peak and Burke have more in common than just being subsidiaries of the same company.  They're more like brothers, really.

And like good brothers, they share. This season all lift tickets included in any Jay Peak lodging package will be completely transferrable to Burke Mountain.  So, if you're booking more than a night, be sure to plan a day to head down to Burke.  Visit their site to learn more about the mountain.
