Partly Sunny

From 48 to 64 trails just like that; only takes six inches of snow, sun and a few degrees to the positive.  Temps will preserve snow overnight, but temps will be on the rise tomorrow right into the weekend.  As the temps rise and some of the frozen granular terrain loosens up, keep an eye on the trail count, because it will creep back towards 100% open.

Tomorrow, you can expect your day to start out cool with packed power trails, but everything will shift towards a soft corn snow by the afternoon when temps are in the mid-fifties.

Wind isn’t looking to be an issue, so expect lifts to spin on-time; lower mountain lifts at 8:30a, followed by upper mountain lifts at 9:00a.  NOTE:  Flyer & Tramside Carpet are schedule to be offline.

Lift tickets can be purchased at both Stateside and Tramside Customer Service locations; $69 for adults (ages 19+) and $55 for juniors (ages 6-18).

Don’t forget, next year’s Judge seasons pass is on sale now. For those that purchase now, you’ll get to ski or ride the rest of this season, as well as all of next year. Early rate expires May 12th; click HERE to learn more or give a call to our Customer Service Department at 802-327-2321 to buy today.

Expansion & Development

Leading into the 2013+14 we'll be investing more than $44 million in resort-wide improvements. New additions will include a new 80,000-sqaure foot Stateside facility including a base lodge offering restaurants, locker rooms, a rental center and 85 room hotel, 84 new mountain cottages, and completely revamping the resort’s entrance.

Knowing how lots of people held/hold the old Stateside Chalet near and dear (as we do) we'll be looking for ways to recreate that feeling in the new building (minus some of the less appealing aspects like the [insert adjective] bathrooms and slippy floors). We're already planning on reusing things like the picnic tables and globe lights in the new base lodge. And we're sure you can help make sure we don't lose that undescribeable Stateside vibe.

Stateside Base Area

The new base lodge, restaurant, retail space, rental center and 85-room hotel will all be constructed right at the Stateside base area, replacing the old Stateside Chalet that was demo'd this summer.

Timeline: Open for Christmas 2013.
Project Investment: $23 million

Timberline Cottages & Townhomes

The 84 mountain cottages and townhomes will be built on a parcel of land between the resort's existing entrance and where the new entrance will be, farther east on route 242 (where the firestation is located).

Timeline: Available for Christmas 2013.
Project Investment: $20 million

The Barn Wedding & Event Space

In addition to the Stateside projects, construction of a new wedding and event space is already underway. The Barn, as it is being called, will be a 2,000-square foot facility located between the first tee and ninth green of Jay Peak’ golf course, and will open this July.

Timeline: Opening this July, 2013.
Project Investment: $800,000
