WOMEN’S CLINICS
Nobody out-skis Jay Peak women. Raised on wicked terrain, awesome snow, and great instruction, they're some of the best female skiers and riders on the planet. Want to kick ass like our ladies? You know you do.
Saturday, February 16th we will be hosting the first of our day-long women's clinics. The day will begin at 8AM and run right through 'til the lifts close at 4PM:
| 8:00AM | Meet at the Snowsports School Desk in the Tramside cafeteria. Equipment check, introductions. |
| 8:30AM | On snow. Video analysis. |
| 12:00PM | Lunch in the IR. Presentation by a guest speaker. |
| 1:00PM | On snow. Video analysis. |
| 4:00PM | Video review. Cocktails & snacks in the Long Trail pub (Hotel Jay). |
Rates
$229 includes the clinic, lift ticket, video analysis, lunch, & après ski cocktails & snacks.
$189 for Jay Peak Season Pass Holders (includes all of the above except the lift ticket).
Please note that all participants must be at least intermediate level skiers and riders.
The clinics will be led by pro skier Asia McGriby and Jay Peak instructor Holly LaFontaine. Read on to learn more about your instructors:
Asia is a native Jay Peak skier but no stranger to the international extreme ski scene, she has spent her life exploring Jay and has also competed for years on the International Free Skiers Association (IFSA) and Skier X World Tours.
Holly has been skiing for 40+ years, instructing for 30 years and has an impressive list skiing credentials – she was a PSIA examiner/ course conductor for 20 years, captain of the US Women’s Professional Demonstration Team for 2 years, a classified racer, and has extensive experience with women specific programs – before coming on board at Jay Peak she trained instructors to teach women’s clinics at other resorts.
