At Jay Peak you get more than just great snow and glades.  The communities that surround the mountain are not only filled with restaurants, shops, and winter activities but they also have an authentic Vermont charm that’s sometimes lacking at the bigger, more commercialized resorts in the state.  So, while you’re here enjoying piles of snow and miles of tree skiing, be sure to check out the charming towns and villages in and around the Jay area.  Whether it’s Jay, North Troy, Newport, or Montgomery, we’d like to welcome you to our neighborhood this winter.
