Corduroy and cream cheese are on the menu today (in that order) as temps will soften up the work of our groomers as they climb into the mid 30s. Throw in some sunshine and you've got a believable reason to take a two-hour lunch break. Get it while the getting's good though because the mercury slides back into winter levels on Friday and the snow guns come back on.
Today's warmth was preceded by an evening of temps in the low teens, which the snowmaking team used to bury the Sky Haus. Because of that effort, we expect to open the tram on Saturday. Northway and Angel’s Wiggle will be the next object of snow makers' affections as we will also be spinning the Flyer come Saturday.
For today you'll find 11 trails serviced by 4 lifts. NOTE: The Stateside, as opposed to the Tramside, moving carpet will be the carpet to spin today. Lower-mountain lifts are scheduled to spin at 8:30a with the Triple slated to fire up at 9:00a. As always, last chair is at 4:00p. Lift tickets stay discounted at $49 for adults (ages 19+) and $35 for juniors (ages 6-18) and can be purchased at Stateside and Tramside Customer Service locations.
If 11 trails only hold two or three hours of excitement for you, we've got a 60,000-square foot indoor waterpark and an NHL-sized skating arena to up the adrenaline factor. This Friday we play host to the Vermont Comedy Divas live in the Foeger Ballroom and live music from the Aerolites Saturday in the Tower Bar from 3:00-6:00p. Checkout the Events page for the season's lineup of music.
