Some people might not know what “TGIF” means, but our biological clock tells us when it’s the weekend, and more importantly; when it’s time to have fun. This season has upped the ante, as good temps, great snow, and some of the best terrain on the East Coast, have opened the flood gates for adrenaline pumping fun here at Jay Peak.
In weather news, winter is back in action, as the mercury has been sliding south since this morning and looking to stay cool throughout the weekend. That means Mother Nature will help us preserve the 3” of natural that touched down last night (on-top of our season total of 52”) and allow our Snowmakers to continue running the guns. Snowmaking will continue to blow on The Northway and Angel’s Wiggle in effort to give you some more options via the Tram and The Flyer, both of which slated to spin tomorrow.
Tomorrow we’re rolling out with 15 trails and 1 terrain park all serviced by 8 lifts. Lower Mountain lifts are scheduled to spin at 8:00a with the Triple, Flyer and Tram planned to fire up at 8:30a; last chair for all lifts is at 4:00p. With the latest expansion in skiable terrain, lift tickets are now priced at $69 for adults (ages 19+) and $55 for juniors (ages 6-18) and can be purchased at both Tramside and Stateside ticket windows.
Staying with us this weekend? Check-out all our other offerings besides great skiing and riding, like The Pump House indoor Waterpark, our very own NHL size skating arena and weekly events & activities. Tomorrow we kick off our après music series with the Aerolites playing live music in the Tower Bar from 3:00-6:00p over on Tramside.
