Partly Sunny, 1-2” possible tonight.

We have another beautiful day on our hands, mostly sunny skies with mild temps and minimal winds.  Our Mountain Forecaster is predicting 6-10” of snow in the next 48 hours, giving the mountain a fresh white coat going into the weekend.

Our Terrain Parks Crew has been hard at work, adding close to a dozen things to the park on Interstate. Look for a fresh new set up this weekend.

For today, the trail count will be in the 70ish range as we are closing some trails like Green Beret, Valhalla, Vermonter, The Milks, and Power Line as snowmaking continues on the Northway. Pay attention to Closed Trail signs.

All 9 lifts will be spinning today.

Lower Mountain lifts are scheduled to spin at 8:30AM with Upper Mountain lifts slated to spin shortly after at 9:00AM. As always final chair is at 4:00PM.

Lift tickets are $72 for adults ages 19+ and $57 for juniors ages 6-18 and can be purchased at both Stateside & Tramside Customer Service locations.

Welcome to the New Stateside Hotel & Baselodge.

The Never-ending Story

So here you have it.  Our redeveloped, if not slightly reimagined, Stateside Hotel and Baselodge.  Where our past is passed.  Offered forward to a new generation of Jay Peaker, of Raised Jayer, through stories, personalities and memories from the local’s side.  A side of sight and smell and sound unique even to a place like Jay Peak.

We’ve added rooms not suites, a diner not a restaurant, a gear shop not a boot’s boutique and we’ve given space over to our Ski Club, our Season Passholders and a bar big enough to jam a bus (our first shuttle) a Bullwheel (of T bar fame) and views big enough to look into our future.

If you’re the type who wants to get to and from the action fast, the new Stateside Hotel is for you.  Comfortable beds, bathrooms and views.  Ski in ski out for rates that connect back to an earlier Jay Peak.  With access to good food, drink and an outdoor hot tub to drown your sorrowed muscles.

The new Stateside Hotel and base Lodge is home to:

  • 85 fully appointed rooms
  • Howie’s Restaurant & Bar
  • The Bullwheel Bar
  • New Stateside Baselodge
  • The Gear Shop
  • Rental & Demo Center
  • Jay Peak Adult Ski School
  • Fitness Center
  • Jay Peak Recreation Center (Climbing Wall and independent movie theatre—coming winter 2015)
  • Jay Peak Outdoor Amphitheater
