Snow 3-6”

It looks like we dodged a huge warm and wet bullet today. After a very short period of rain, temperatures dropped, and it started snowing. It looks like we could see close to a HALF FOOT of snow by first chair tomorrow.

Looking forward to the weekend, it looks like we’ll see mid-winter conditions. The skiing and riding should be exceptional on everything from the groomers to the woods. Temps look to be in the mid-20s with partly sunny skies and a chance of flurries.

TOMORROW: All lifts and runs are expected to open. That translates to 78 trails of machine groomed and spring goodness being serviced by nine lifts. First Chair for lower-mountain lifts is slated for 8:30AM with the upper-mountain expected to come online at 9:00AM; last chair for all lifts is at 4:00PM.

The 36th annual Land Shark Beach Party is this Saturday. Get all of the details here.

Something Old Something New

The old and new Gondola... To the Top!

Great for Friends and Family!

After being away for nearly 15 years I convinced my friends to do Jay for our annual Super Bowl trip.  Super Bowl XLVI - Go Giants! was extra special as we're all Giants fans and to see the look on the New Englander's faces as they took down the Patriots, again, was priceless.  But seeing the old gondola and the new reminded me of Jay back in the day... and what great time we used to have.  Being from Long Island we would usually do lower Vermont...  Jay is worth the extra couple of miles.  Jay has grown to so much more today then I ever thought it would be.  I'm so glad it has.  It is perfect for me and the boys on our super bowl trip, see you in Feb., and for my kids to experience the best East Coast Skiing.... they haven't been above 2,300', yet...  Go Jay!
