The 2013 ski and ride season has, unfortunately, come to a close. Many thanks to all those who came out this winter. Not to worry, as summer has rolled out the red carpet here in early May with sunshine and warm temps; the perfect recipe for waking a dormant golf course.

The Jay Peak Golf Club House will open for 2013 Saturday, May 11th.  Call 802-988-4653 to book your tee time today.

Don't forget; Monday, May 13th is the last day to purchase discounted 2013-14 season passes.  Click HERE for more info and to purchase.

Have a great summer.

Ben's First Ski

Our older son, Luc has learned to ski through the Berkshire Elementary Ski Program that is offered through Jay Peak.  We are so thankful for this program because he probably would have never learned to ski otherwise. We (my husband and I) took our boys up to the mountain a couple of years ago and watched Luc ski...we were amazed at how good he was! Skiing has given Luc a lot of much needed confidence.  His little brother, Ben wanted to try the magic carpet that day, so we let him try it. It was his first time on skis and he was awesome!  Ben is now 9 and will start going to the mountain this winter with the school. I am proud and pleased that my kids will be 'Raised Jay'.  A special thanks to the ski instructors and Berkshire teachers/parents/volunteers who have taught our Luc and other school kids...what a great opportunity these kids have been given.

This photo is of Ben (age 7 at the time) after his first attempt at skiing:)
