Post Dump 2012
This is how I saw Jay Peak Resort after the big 2012 dump.
We awoke this morning to a snowy scene on the hill, as the mercury slid back down last night, allowing the Jay Cloud to leave us a little gift of 2-3” this morning. Temps are looking to continue to creep their way down the thermometer for the weekend, meaning snowmaking will come back online today on Northway and Angel’s Wiggle, and we could see some more natural fall by Sunday.
Ski or ride on 15 trails today serviced by 7 lifts. In case you didn’t know, the Flyer makes its debut spin for the season today; scheduled to spin with the Triple for 9:00a. Lower Mountain lifts are slated for 8:30a with last chair for all at 4:00p. Today is your last day to take advantage of early season ticket rates, $49 for adults (ages 19+) and $35 for juniors (ages 6-18) and can be purchased at both Tramside and Stateside Customer Service.
In case 15 trails only gives you a few hours of fun, take a look at what else we bring to the table, like Vermont’s only indoor waterpark, a NHL sized skating arena and plenty of restaurants to appease the whole family. Tonight we play host to the Vermont Comedy Divas, live in the Foeger Ballroom starting at 7:00p. Tomorrow we kick off our après music series with the Aerolites playing live music in the Tower Bar from 3:00-6:00p.
