Clouds giving way to sun.

4-6" of new snow blew around the hill last night; the key word being 'blew.' You'll find some deeper pockets out there today, and some shallower ones. No matter; it's going to be warm with late-day sun. Temps will range from 28 to 38 degrees.

All 78 trails and glades are expected to open serviced by 9 lifts. First chair for lower-mountain lifts is scheduled for 8:30AM with the upper-mountain chairs scheduled for 9:00AM. As always, last chair for all lifts is at 4:00PM.

My words

Jay Peak

The day starts, im loking up the bonnie
The top of Lift Line is looking rather scrawny
Wind howls at the summit of the mighty Jay Peak
I am here because fear and excitement is what I seek
Down the chutes I go and then into Canyon Land
Making my way to the jet after a run that was grand
I stand in front of Timbuktu; the trees are O so tight
I think this much powder in the East is a rare sight
On my last rin I hit up Andres Paridise and Poma Line
For it is the trees and moguls that makes this resort so fine
The Jay Cloud; You brought me endless powder days
I thank you for this but its is the resort that I praise.
