More snow.

We've picked up an additional 2-3" of snow since lifts opened this morning, bringing the storm total to 4-6". We could see another 1-2” before lifts close today, if it keeps snowing like this. Let the weekend countdown begin.

Looking forward to the weekend, it looks like we’ll see mid-winter conditions. The skiing and riding should be exceptional, on everything from groomers to glades. Temps look to be in the mid-20s with partly sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday.

All 9 lifts are scheduled to open today. First Chair for lower-mountain lifts is slated for 8:30AM with the upper-mountain expected to come online at 9:00AM; last chair for all lifts is at 4:00PM.

The 36th annual Land Shark Beach Party is this Saturday. Get all of the details here.

She said "Yes"

On their annual December Jay Peak Ski trip, Leif dropped to one knee in the Jay Peak parking lot. Almost suited up for a day of fun in the freshies, Leif told Laura there was one more thing he had to keep her warm for the day.   On bendied knee, he presented her with an engagement ring and asked for her hand in marriage.  Without hesitation, she said "YES"! From there they procedded to ski the trees all morning, enjoyed lunch at the Tower Bar, and waited until the end of the day to spread the news to family & friends.
