The 2013 ski and ride season has, unfortunately, come to a close. Many thanks to all those who came out this winter. Not to worry, as summer has rolled out the red carpet here in early May with sunshine and warm temps; the perfect recipe for waking a dormant golf course.

After sitting in the lodge while I skied for a couple years, my girlfriend and I decided that '11/'12 was the year that she learned how. I was going to teach her. We made our way up north one weekend and I took her for her very first runs. That weekend happened to be Feb 25 aka the "50 inch weekend". I tried to teach her how to ski, but all the Florida-born novice wanted to do was play in the snow. The look on her face says it all.
