5th year of our classic weekend get together of soccer, snowboard and ski friends!
For Vermonters, predicting the weather is like a common house-hold chore, as Mother Nature loves to keep us on our toes. Take this for example: earlier in the week our weather guy called for snow and today we saw showers. Regardless of what’s going on in the sky, there are numerous positives to talk about this afternoon.
Snow quality is soft and playful, if you don’t mind getting a little wet. Aside from smooth groomers, another plus is that this saturated snowpack will settle nicely, giving us an even stronger base for the holidays. Lastly, the Jug Handle Terrain Park opened today; full of rails, boxes and jumps to please all your freestyle needs.
Tomorrow we are planning to open 54 trails with 8 lifts scheduled to spin, but due to the chance of ice moving in tonight, we ask you to check back with us first thing tomorrow morning for the official trail and lift count. There’s a chance we could be in the clear, as Lower Mountain elevations are looking to get hit the hardest, but we’ll keep you posted as we watch the scene unfold.
Lift tickets can be purchased at both Stateside and Tramside Customer Service locations at $69 for adults (ages 19+) and $55 for juniors (ages 6-18).
In case weird Vermont weather isn’t your thing, we have lots more to offer. Check out our Indoor Waterpark, an NHL sized skating rink, a variety of family friendly restaurants & dining options and weekly events and activities. This afternoon we host the Malicious Brothers playing live music in the Tower Bar from 3:00-6:00p.Learn more about our offerings HERE.
Stay tuned here, or with the snow phone (802-988-9601) for the latest snow and mountain news.
We’ll see what happens
