The 2013 ski and ride season has, unfortunately, come to a close. Many thanks to all those who came out this winter. Not to worry, as summer has rolled out the red carpet here in early May with sunshine and warm temps; the perfect recipe for waking a dormant golf course.

The Jay Peak Golf Club House will open for 2013 Saturday, May 11th.  Call 802-988-4653 to book your tee time today.

Don't forget; Monday, May 13th is the last day to purchase discounted 2013-14 season passes.  Click HERE for more info and to purchase.

The Proposal

My boyfriend Jesse popping the question in 47" of powder in the Stateside Glade. Amazing powder day, amazing birthday surprise.

The Best Day of My Life (so far.)

Jay Peak is my home mountain, even though I live 3.5 hours away. Every weekend for the past three years, my friends and I have made the trek up to the Northeast Kingdom for epic skiing and great times at the Tower Bar. The weekend of February 25, 2012 was no exception, the whole crew headed up to Jay to celebrate my 28th birthday. Little did I know, it was going to be the best birthday ever. Not only was it an amazing powder day, but my then boyfriend Jesse had a huge surprise in store for me. He made sure everybody met at the Bonny at 3:00. We headed down the mountain, meeting in the Stateside Glade under the guise of "taking a group photo." All of a sudden, Jesse was down on one knee. He had been carrying the ring in his coat all day. Of course, I said yes, and he busted out a bottle of champagne he had been carrying around in his backpack. All of our friends had been in on it for weeks. We all celebrated with an amazing dinner at The Foundry, a perfect ending to a perfect day.
