**Mountain Update**

After an hour of heavy snow at the base, things have calmed down to a light flurry. We picked up around an inch of snow at the base and maybe more at the summit. The Flyer, Tram, Bonnie and Tramside carpet are still closed.

Lower Mountain lifts are scheduled to spin at 8:30AM, with Upper Mountain lifts slated to spin shortly after at 9:00AM. As always final chair is at 4:00PM.

In case you need to purchase lift tickets, you can do so at both Tramside & Stateside Customer Service locations; $72 for adults (ages 19+) and $57 for juniors (ages 6-18).

2015/2016 Season Passes are now on sale. Click HERE to check out our Pass options; purchase by May 11th and save some coin.

In case you're driving up here for the first time and plan on using a GPS, be sure to read this.

You Know When It’s Real…

5 days, 96"...Only @Jay!

I had been in the deep. I had been in the deeper. Nothing compared to this late season crusher at Jay. Ninety-six inches fell in just five days. Avalanche warnings off the backside aren't something common even by Jay standards. The mission was clear. The only choice was to accept.

Trammed up to the Big Jay gates, looking down on the most snow I'd ever seen. The Valentine's Day massacre seemed a mere dusting compared to this. Snowshoed out to the bounds of sanity and beyond. Strapped in. Thanked God. Let rip.

If heaven is a place on Earth, we found it that day.  I can close my eyes and find it ever since.
