Someone once said that those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. At Jay, we hope our past snowfall records continue to repeat. Because overall, we're looking pretty good.
Today was a bit blustery, but the wind is dying down and the mercury is sliding into winter. Tomorrow snowmaking resumes on the Northway and Angel's Wiggle and the Flyer will spin for the first time this season. The Tram follows suit on Saturday and by next weekend December 14, the Bonnie will open as well. NOTE: With the Flyer and Tram opening, lift tickets will go to their full-season rate of $69 for adults (ages 19+) and $55 for juniors (ages 6-18).
Tomorrow you'll find 12 trails serviced by 5 lifts with a bit less wind in your face. The lower-mountain chairs are scheduled to spin at 8:30a and the Triple and Flyer are slated for 9:00a. As always, last chair is at 4:00p. Lift tickets are still at still at pre-season rates (for at least one more day) of adults $49 (ages 19+) and $35 for juniors (ages 6-18) and can be purchased at Stateside and Tramside Customer Service locations.
If 12 trails only hold two or three hours of excitement for you, we've got a 60,000-square foot indoor waterpark and an NHL-sized skating arena to up the adrenaline factor. This Friday we play host to the Vermont Comedy Divas live in the Foeger Ballroom and live music from the Aerolites Saturday in the Tower Bar from 3:00-6:00p. Checkout the Events page for the season's lineup of music.
