To skiers and riders December 2013 has felt like one long (and cold) Christmas. Snow and great snowmaking temps are the reasons for us operating at 75 percent a week before Christmas. It’s only looking to get better too; Tim Kelley says be on the lookout for half a foot of snow Friday. Oh, and snowmaking is working hard on the LZ Terrain Park, which should be operational sometime this weekend if all goes well.
The ski day becomes even more seasonable tomorrow with summit temps in the teens and high twenties at the base. Winds will be over 40 mph at times, but shouldn’t hinder lift operations.
58 trails and glades, over Packed Powder / Powder conditions await your arrival tomorrow. All lifts are scheduled to spin; lower mountain lifts are slated for 8:30a with upper mountain lifts on tap for 9:00a. Last chair for all lifts will be at 4:00p.
Lift tickets can be purchased at Stateside or Tramside Customer Service locations for $69 for adults (ages 19+) and $55 for juniors (ages 6-18).
The fun doesn’t stop once last chair hits. This Friday we host the opening party of the new Stateside Hotel and Day Lodge, along with a musical performance by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra’s Counterpoint Choral Group in the Foeger Ballroom and tree lighting celebration in the Ice Haus.
