Snow

3-4” of snow fell overnight with an additional 1-2” possible today. Temps will be dropping into the low single digits throughout the day, so don’t forget to pack an extra layer or two.

Conditions on the mountain are Powder/Packed Powder, the trails should be soft and smooth thanks to our grooming team while the woods will have snow drifts thanks to Mother Nature and the wind.

We plan on being 100% open today with all 78 trails ready for your skiing and riding pleasure. All 9 lifts are scheduled to spin, providing access to almost 400 acres of terrain.

Lower Mountain lifts are scheduled to load the public at 8:00AM with Upper Mountain lifts slated to follow at 8:30AM. Final chair is at 4:00PM for every lift.

Lift tickets are $72 for adults ages 19+ and $57 for juniors ages 6-18 and can be purchased at both Stateside & Tramside Customer Service locations.

The Third Annual Jay Peak Trail Running Family Festival

View/Hide Photos

The annual Jay Peak Trail Fest see more than 600 runners and racers head up to Jay Peak for a weekend of sunshine, adventure, good food, and good fun. This year promises much of the same with a barbeque both on Saturday and Sunday, plenty of beverages and fun for every member of the family.

The festival is a series of trail races for all abilities (ages 4-109) over Labor Day Weekend. There are three 5Ks on Saturday: run one, two or three races rated in difficulty like your ski slopes (green circle, blue square, black diamond). You may enter all three for our "Trail Runners with Issues" award too. There is a 25K and a 50K ultra trail race on Sunday. This race series allows the beginner to the trail running nut multiple levels to compete.

Something to note: This year's festival is expected to sell-out so if you're considering heading to the mountains for the Labor Day holiday, book it sooner than later.
